35 free fantasy creature designs and spritesheets

These are version 1 assets for a now-abandoned project that would have been home for around 35 fantasy creatures.

All are free to use for commercial and non-commercial purposes, licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license. Use them for what you like, how you like just so long as you provide attribution to www.36peas.com.

Exported spritesheets with basic animation and tinting (on some creatures) are available here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/goosemouse/sets/72157624644713562/. These were created by exporting the right layers from the photoshop originals (see below) and organising with illustrator. All are transparent-backed PNGs.

Full-size sprite concepts / portraits are available here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/goosemouse/sets/72157624410426985/

Original layered sprite .PSD (Photoshop CS4) files are available here - http://productivityballoon.com/browse/36peas/turmoil/. Some have tint layers for adjusting colour, some also have basic animation frames.

Originals are all 1000px+ in the longest dimension and 72ppi.

A preview of all the images is shown below, and below that is a list of each of the creature types themselves - follow the links above for portait originals, spritesheets or Photoshop PSDs.

If you're interested in the AI design from the same game - see the newer post Draft AI design/spec for Chaos-like turn-based tactical game.

I was wondering if I could use these for an iPhone App? I would credit you in the game description on iTunes. Would this be ok?

@GingerB of course - no problem at all. Let us know when you publish the game and we'll try and give you a mention somewhere.
